Things To Remember
Time can fluff up our memories, and society can blur them. Some things must be recalled with clarity, because it is the details that guide our next steps, and nourish our eternal souls. This page honors the rhapsodic and journalistic passion of Mnemosyne, Goddess of Memories, and mother of the nine Muses.
John H Lang is currently, in 2015, eighty-five years old, a managing director of the financial firm High Tower, and a child of the Kindertransport, the rescue effort that liberated about 10,000 children from Nazi Germany. He recalled the drama of his childhood, and the anniversary of Kristallnacht, in the pages of the Wall Street Journal. You will need a subscription to read his recollections, but it is worth doing.
